What is iDEAL
iDEAL is an online payment method that allows consumers to pay via their own bank. You pay via your own bank's app or online banking environment, as iDEAL is a direct online transfer from your bank account to a merchant's bank account.

What are the characteristics of iDEAL?

What is iDEAL QR?
It is a functionality of iDEAL that makes it possible to initiate a mobile iDEAL payment from a screen, printed matter or wherever else you can find an iDEAL QR code. iDEAL QR can be used as a payment method in physical situations, including making doorstep donations, paying invoices, paying for films on TV (video on demand), paying bills at restaurants or cafés or transferring iDEAL transactions from a PC or laptop to a mobile phone.
Can I pay with iDEAL directly?

iDEAL is based on internet- and mobile banking and uses the same security techniques and standards. This means that iDEAL is just as safe as internet and mobile banking.
Can I pay with iDEAL at every bank?
Can I revoke or undo an iDEAL payment?
You can not revoke or undo an iDEAL payment. As soon as you have approved an iDEAL payment in your internet- or mobile banking environment you can not undo this approval. Recovery is not possible. The amount is directly deducted from your bank account. The payment is completely processed within a couple of seconds after your approval, just like a debit card payment in a physical shop.
In case you want to cancel your order, you can contact the company/webshop. As a customer you have certain rights that need to be taken into account by the company/webshop.
