Last year, the migration to the new iDEAL was successfully completed, thanks in part to the excellent cooperation of our partners!

The final step in this migration is that merchants must remove their bank selection list by 31 March 2025 at the latest. This must be replaced by an iDEAL button that  directly links to our iDEAL Payment Page, where the payer can choose their bank or scan an iDEAL QR code to complete the iDEAL payment directly in their banking app. Merchants have been given an extra year compared to payment service providers (Acquirers & CPSPs) to remove the bank selection list. 

From 1 April 2025, Currence iDEAL will monitor which merchants do not comply, and if merchants do not comply, Currence iDEAL will take additional measures through the involved Acquirers & CPSPs.
